The Town of Silver Cliff would like to Thank Peter Liptack for the many years of service to our commmunity and we would like to wish him well in his retirement!

The Town of Silver Cliff is excited to Welcome our new Assessor Elizabeth "Beth" Polacek of Candid Appraisal LLC!  Our municipality is grateful to have Beth join our team in the capacity of Assessor and we feel fortunate to have someone with solid experience and impressive credentials. 

The Town of Silver Cliff Assessor is an Officer of our municipality. Primary duties by LAW is to Inspect Properties to establish values for tax purposes. The Assessor does not need to give advance notice of property visits under state statutes. The Assessor is also EXEMPT from the Wisconsin's No Trespass Laws-Regulations regardless if "No Trespassing" signage is posted or not when acting within their duties. The Assessor MAY request entrance to a property or structure, if denied or chased off the Town of Silver Cliff will become involved to make property accessable; if denied entrance to a structure the Town of Silver Cliff will be required to obtain a Warrant to gain access. In the event of a revaluation, the Town of Silver Cliff is required to provide "Notice to ALL property owners that a revaluation is scheduled and their property will be inspected". Please note:  *Revaluations will be conducted from January 2026 to September 2026;  Please review the posted information on our website under "NOTICES".
