Rescue Squad

                                                      
Silver Cliff Rescue Squad, Inc. is a basic life support service which covers 208 square miles in the Marinette County towns of Athelstane and Silver Cliff, WI. Much of the coverage area is largely unpopulated forest and recreational use. The area boasts two county parks and remote camping, many miles of forestry roads, snowmobile/ATV-UTV trails, a beautiful bike trail system, and a major kayaking/rafting river.

The squad crews are comprised of volunteer Emergency Medical Technician-Basics, Emergency Medical Responders, and drivers. The unit consists of 1 rescue squad and UTV. Crews answered about 130 calls last year. Our medical direction is through Aurora Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, WI. The hospital provides Advanced Life Support Paramedic intercepts as needed. Meetings are usually held the third Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Silver Cliff Town Hall at N11929A County I.
