Silver Cliff Rescue Squad
Silver Cliff Rescue Squad is a Basic Life Support service which covers approximately 104 square miles in the town of Silver Cliff, WI. Much of the coverage area is largely unpopulated forest and recreational use with three county parks and remote camping, many miles of forestry roads, snowmobile/ATV trails, and a major kayak/rafting river.
The squad is comprised of various Emergency Medical Technician- Basic, Emergency Medical Responders, and drivers. The fleet consists of 1 rescue squad and ATV. Crews answer about 90 calls per year. Our medical direction is through Aurora Bay Area Hospital in Marinette, WI. The hospital provides Advanced Life Support Paramedic intercepts as needed. Meetings are usually held the third Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Silver Cliff Emergency Services Building located at W13600 County C.
This is a volunteer rescue squad and the building is not staffed. Dial 911 to activate Marinette County emergency response.
