Garbage Pickup & Recycling
Silver Cliff Recycling Center is located right next to the Silver Cliff Town Hall N11929 County Rd I (Downtown Silver Cliff)
RECYCLING CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION:
First and Third Sunday 8 a.m. to Noon
Second and Fourth Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
*NOTE: AFTER HOURS DUMPING IS PROHIBITED, NO EXCEPTIONS!!
CURBSIDE GARBAGE PICK-UP:
Every Wednesday from April 1st to December 1st (Spring to Fall)
Every First, third, and fifth Wednesday of the month from December 1st to April 1st.
*Please make sure to put the garbage at the end of your driveway in animal proof containers by 7:00 a.m.
*New Residents should contact the SC Town Clerk (715-757-3163) so that we may notify our garbage collection company. Thank you!
NO CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL IS ALLOWED!!! All construction material must be taken to MAR-OCO LANDFILL LOCATED ON SCHAFFER RD CRIVITZ!!
We Currently Accept the following:
Plastic: All Numbers (please rinse out)
No plastic bags, film, or wrap
No motor oil containers
No styrophome
Paper: Newspaper, books, magazines, shredded paper in brown paper bags stapled shut
No paper contaminated with food or grease
Metal: Aluminum cans keep seperate from other recyclables (please rinse out), steel, bi-metal, tins, empty aresol cans
No Aluminum foil pans or aluminum foil
No Empty paint cans
Glass: All colors of glass taken (please rinse out)
No Window glass
No Ceramic or china
No Light bulbs
No Candle jars
Cardboard: Cut to a size NO LARGER than 2 feet x 2 feet
No Cardboard contaminated with food or grease
Batteries: Ask Attendant
No Car batteries
